I came across two Reddit posts recently that both circled around hiring. Different scenarios, totally different contexts -- but my instinct for tackling both was the same. And I figured it was worth sharing, because I think a lot of people jump straight to "how do I interview for this?" when they should actually slow down and answer a different question first.
