Course Creation – Behind The Screen – 2024 February, Week 1

Welcome to Behind The Screen for February, week 1! In this vlog, I discuss how I’m making some changes in my time management in order to be able to focus more attention on Dometrain course creation and content creation in general. While I really value being able to release free content, being able to focus more time and energy on course creation means I have more revenue to do… the free stuff more effectively! It’s a vicious cycle, but putting out content costs time and money to do it at the scale that I’d like.

Aside from course creation, I mentioned in this video more about my upcoming job change and why I switched teams at Microsoft. I’m sure I’ll have much more to add on this over the coming weeks, so it’s an exciting transition for me to kick off the year!

The Behind The Screen weekly vlogs are my way of showing you what’s happening behind the scenes with my life. It’s your number one way to get exclusive information about what’s up and coming because I just keep talking about what’s top of mind! Yes, that means SPOILER ALERT!

I try to focus on some core areas each time:

  • Dev Leader sneak peeks for things I have planned (courses, posts, etc…)
  • Content creation and what’s up and coming
  • Preview into work life for me at Microsoft
  • Modified car stuff here and there
  • Bodybuilding and gym stuff when there’s something interesting
  • Annnnd whatever else is going on in my life that’s interesting

But as you can see, these are different things that represent my interests, my life, and my Dev Leader brand. I hope that this gives you a lens into who I am and that I’m not just the guy that makes blog posts and videos.

As always – Thank you so much for your support. I truly love making content that can help you become better at software engineering, and without you, I’d not have that opportunity. For me, this is an extremely rewarding opportunity to help make a difference on your journey.

Thanks, and enjoy!
